Apple is Trying to Fix Battery Issues of iPhone 4S

Apple is trying their best to fix battery issues of iPhone 4S. The iOS 5.0.1 update promised to address the battery issues surrounding Apple’s latest smartphone the iPhone 4S. Despite the promise, customers flooded the company’s support pages with complaints of the problem getting worse. Apparently, the Cupertino firm continues to investigate these battery problems.

Apple told AllthingsD, “The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”
When the iOS 5.0.1 update rolled out last Friday, many thought this would be the end of the iPhone 4S’s battery woes. Some complained that the update gave their smartphone the problem, when they didn’t experience any battery issues in the past. Some complained that the update made the problem much worse. Sadly, Apple is yet to announce when a new update will address the new problems.

Issues surrounding the iPhone 4S do not end here. Apart from the smartphone’s battery woes, it also has an issue with voice calls. Initially, reports started pouring in on an echo affecting voice calls when headphones were plugged in. Later on, customers complained they experienced white noise even when the headsets were not plugged in.

Bottom line, Apple has to sort out these issues pronto before their customers decide to jump ship and get their hands on upgrade to either Nokia’s new Windows Phone Mango-powered Lumia 800 or Samsung’s new Android flagship the Galaxy Nexus.

Are you one of the iPhone 4S owners suffering from these problems? Can’t wait for another update to address these issues, or are you afraid it will just make things worse?
